The Tavares Trio/ Quartet
This Toronto Jazz Trio is formed by a group of experienced professional musicians, led by pianist Fernando Tavares. They have been playing together for over 10 years. They produce a great sound, and can help make your engagement a memorable one.
This trio plays Jazz, Latin and Brazilian music in a wide variety of styles and rhythms; Swing, Samba, Bossa nova, Salsa, Rumba, Cha-Cha's, Ballads, and Pop Standards. The appropriate music to play during gala dinners, corporate functions and events, weddings, receptions and promotional events. This trio can expand to include a female singer or another instrumentalist such as a saxophonist / flutist or trumpeter.

The Tavares Quintet
This band "The Tavares Quintet" is a 5 piece Toronto wedding band with the following instrumentation: Piano/Keyboards, Bass, Drums, Guitarist/Vocalist and Female Singer. Designed to perform for the dancing and entertaining part of your wedding, we'll perform music that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and age groups. We'll perform high energy dance material including cover tunes, R&B motown and soul music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Music from Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and so on. World Music from Italy and Portugal also forms part of our repertoire.
