The Tavares Trio

Tavares Trio | Quartet | Quintet The musicians of this Toronto jazz trio, led by pianist Fernando Tavares, have been playing together for over 12 years and produce a great sound. They will help make your engagement a memorable one. This trio plays Jazz, Latin and Brazilian music and a wide variety of styles and rhythms; Swing, Samba, Bossanova, Salsa, Rumba, Cha-Cha's, Ballads, and Pop Standards. Playing softly in the background this Jazz Trio is ideal for playing during dinners, corporate functions and events, weddings receptions and promotional events, where you want the music to set an ambiance that encourages mingling and conversation between guests and clients. This trio also includes vocals as our bassist is also an excellent vocalist.

The Tavares Quartet

Tavares Trio | Quartet | QuintetThe Tavares Jazz Quartet expands on the trio to include another instrumentalist either saxophone, flute or trumpet.

The lead instrumentalists include some very well known, world class musicians such as Bill McBirnie (flute), Alex Brown (trumpet). If vocals are your preference then we invite our female vocalist, Lindsey Camara. Lindsey is a soulful, powerful vocalist and performer with a very versatile repertoire. She confidently sings in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. This Toronto Jazz Quartet plays Jazz, Latin & Brazilian Music as well as Motown, R&B, Funk, & Oldies. There is music for everyone with this band.
